What is Notary Public?

The purpose of Notarization is that the Agreement is true and the documents had signed and approved in front of the Notary Public. A signature on an affidavit considers being valid only if Notary Public has signed and put a seal on the Agreement.

When to choose the Attestation of Rent Agreement from Notary Public?

If you are going to make the Agreement for the duration of 11months.Then notarizing it with the Notary Public is Sufficient and yes also Valid.

What you have to do is that after drafting the Rent Agreement both the parties. You have to sign it in front of the Notary Public and he will Attest the Agreement- “Such a Simple and Quick Procedure” 

When to choose the Registration of Rent Agreement?

If you are going to make the Agreement for the duration of above 11 months then it recommendss to Make it Register as the Validity for Notary is for 1 year in case of Rent Agreement. Also, it recommends that if you are planning to apply Something and required a Valid Address Proof. Then in that case it’s important to make the Rent Agreement Registered (as a Notarized Rent Agreement is not considered a valid address proof for tenant by various Departments/Companies) for example, while applying for the Passport, the Department did not consider the Notarized Rental Agreement as a valid proof, you have to provide them a Registered One.

  1. If the Agreement is making for 11 months. Then notarizing it with Notary Public is sufficient and Valid.
  2. If the Agreement is making for above 11 months. Then recommends to make it register as the validity for Notary is for 1 year in case of Rent Agreement.
